Italiaander is a photographer with an international reputation, an author, a musician and an all round creative thinker.
Gary began studying music at an early age, holds qualifications from the London College of Music and qualified as a teacher from Reading University. During his years of study, Gary became enchanted by the art of photography which led to a change in career path.
The Italiaander Portrait Gallery was based in Harrods for a number of years and Gary is still associated with the world-famous store with his expertise in photographic restoration. His commissions have included private individuals, members of Royal Families and Ambassadors as well as for large corporations such as Arik Air International, Merrill Lynch, British Gas International and many more.
Gary has extensive experience in high-end photography. He has been involved with a variety of photographic organisations within the UK and is an honorary member of the Master Photographers Association (MPA). He has also been associated with many charities. Apart from his photographic work being widely published, he has tested photographic inkjet paper for Ilford with his work displayed on their packaging worldwide and in addition, he was the 'prize' in a national wedding competition for Olympus cameras.
